No borders! No binaries! Yes bikes! For refugees and asylum seekers, mobility is survival, but not often a given. Freedom of Movement believes no one is illegal in amerika because most of us are merely guests here. Come exercise your freedom of movement so others may do the same! Full Moon Drag and Bikepocing are joining forces to bring us an afternoon of DJing and drag to move our bodies and money in support of our undocumented neighbors. Together we can stand up against the targeting and fearmongering of our beloved community, for whom mobility is survival but not often a given. Proceeds from this event will benefit Undocumented Women’s Fund - a skill-sharing, mutual aid, and resource mobilization project in NYC. Come show off your shin and thigh muscles and shake your booty to DJ @aquaruis.nyc Our drag performers will turn up the heat, maybe even hot enough to melt ice Feast on a handmade tamale (or two) Enter our raffle, lock legs in our strength competition (bikers get ‘em ready to wrestle), and fight back with us from the dancefloor.
