
The band is back together for a taproom takeover, celebrating some new music on the label. \\n\\nSome spiel about the music:\\n\\nBanana Hill returns after five years with a new EP from Stockport-based DJ and producer Cervo. The title track harbours a connection with Ugandan rapper and musician Spyda MC, who featured on the Kawuku Sound LP back in 2018. Spyda mixes three languages in his lyrics (Runyankole, Luganda and Lusoga) and adds distinctive engalabi drumming to sit alongside the amapiano-inspired percussive bassline and acid house elements.\\n'Autumn Spring' is a chunky, jazz-inflected deep house jam, and up-tempo club workout 'bb silk' finishes up the EP.\\n"Ebibi bigende" means "Let the bad (energy) go!"
