Brooklyn Dub Club Meets Teachings in Dub: Channel One & Dubkasm

This November, Brooklyn Dub Club joins forces with Bristol’s institution Teachings in Dub, for an outernational celebration of sound system culture, honoring the deep roots and shared history between the two cities. A cornerstone of both Brooklyn Dub Club and Teachings in Dub sessions, the legendary Channel One Sound System returns to New York, with selector Mikey Dread at the controls and Ras Sherby on vocals. Dubkasm, the duo of Stryda and Digistep, lead the Bristol contingent with their heavyweight dubplates and live performance energy, joined by the prophetic voice of Rider Shafique and selector Barry Steppa in support. Finally, the Dub-Stuy crew and JonnyGo Figure host the night, keeping the vibes high from start to finish. As always, expect a full-power experience on Dub-Stuy’s custom-built sound system and get ready for a historic night of roots, culture, and heavy dubwise pressure.
