In collaboration with Barcelona-based pan-African collective JOKKOO, ORMSIDE presents MBODJ, Nazar, Nexus, Covco and Seventimes.\\n\\nFounded in 2017, JOKKOO takes its name from the Wolof word for connection, and acts as a vital platform and binding tissue for experimental and avant-garde arts across the African continent and its global diaspora. Occupying and disrupting performance and club spaces alike, the 6 members of JOKKOO develop diverse practices as individuals and in collaboration – forming an intricate and close-knit community that both grounds and expands.\\n\\nOn May 30th, representing JOKKOO are MBODJ and Nexus (The performance duo made up of B4mba and Mooki6). Joining them are three artists close to Ormside’s heart: “Rough-Kuduro” innovator Nazar, INFINITE FXX founder and NTS resident Cõvco, and DJ and TEARS co-organiser Seventimes. \\n\\nSupport from Carhartt WIP.
