
Nāda Sonics is an exploration into the world of of raga and tala -based music. Broadcast on NTS Radio since 2023, Sway of the Verses shares the intricacies of raga music, an ever evolving ancient musical tradition weaving through the numerous musicians, instruments, ragas, time-cycles and concepts of this genre. \\n\\nThe Nāda Sonics—IRL: Listening Session is a chance to experience this spiritual, moving music in a collective situation; beginning with a breathwork session to calm the mind and relax the body led by Isaac B; then experiencing an uninterrupted listening session of 90 mins, sat on the floor on cushions, sipping tea and melting away to the vibes. In an overwhelming, discordant world of chaos, this is an oasis of calm.\\n\\nSway of the Verses\\n\\nSway Of The Verses is a radio presenter, DJ, graphic designer and artist. His residencies on NTS, Voices Radio and Sister Midnight FM have specialised in raga based music, diving into a mix of ghazals, qawaali, Punjabi folk, Indo-Jazz, lo-fi ambient music from the South Asian Diaspora, and more club orientated vibes. \\n\\nHis dj sets vary from very considered long-form ambient sets, to crafting genre and bpm fluid explorations across ambient, jazz, hip-hop, dub and the many forms of electronic music; and has performed some standout sets at We Out Here, Dancing Family Festival, Daytimers Festival, Tate Lates, as well club sets all over London.\\n\\nIsaac B\\n\\nIsaac is a London-based yoga teacher, movement guide, and founder of Suns Of Yoga, coming from a background in music & technology and rooted in the belief that we are all light, even in our darkest times and creators of our own right. \\n\\nIsaac shares yoga as a practice of remembrance: returning to centre, authentic truth, and embodied presence. His teaching blends Vinyasa, Yin, YinYasa, breathwork, meditation, philosophy, sound, and music, creating inclusive, soulful spaces free from prejudice of belief, background, or experience.\\n\\nLake\\n\\nLake is a dedicated space for the development of audio-spatial practices.\\n\\nThrough installation, performance and conversations, artists are invited to use the gallery’s native 7.1 surround sound system for the exploration of integrated sonic practices within the visual arts landscape. Lake encourages the extension of artistic practice and knowledge through this site-specific engagement.\\n\\nMuch like the ecological landscape of a lake, supporting life both around and beneath its surface, the gallery seeks to develop collaborative processes beyond individual mediums.
