About this event

** NO STRICT DRESS CODE, come as you are. Last Entry 3 AM. **\\n\\nOn 30 May, Necropolis Festival invites you to the Vampire Ball, a night where the dancefloor belongs to vampires. The venue itself feels like part of the story: historic, shadowy, and atmospheric, the perfect setting for a gathering that feels a little removed from the ordinary world.\\n\\nThroughout the night, the space will slowly transform into a dark, gothic dream. Think deep red lighting, candlelit corners, mysterious visuals, and details that make the rooms feel like otherworldly. It’s the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time, drifting between rooms, music, and conversations with people who feel like they’ve stepped out of the same nocturnal universe. \\n\\nMore than anything, this night is about connection, meeting kindred spirits who live for the same energy, sharing moments on the dancefloor, and becoming part of a crowd that moves together until the early hours.\\n\\nThere will also be a Sanctuary Room, a hidden corner of Necropolis designed for connection, conversation, and calm. Step away from the pounding techno and dark electronic music for a moment, meet new people, share stories, or simply recharge. No music will interfere here, so you can enjoy real conversations in a space that still carries the mysterious atmosphere of the night. However, this room is not completly silent as there is still music coming from the right next room but it’s quiet enough for real conversations.\\n\\nThere’s no strict dress code for the Vampire Ball, but the inspiration is dark romance and vampiric elegance. Think velvet, lace, dramatic silhouettes, dark lips, Victorian goth. We encourage ball style outfits and creativity whether you go subtle or theatrical. We’ll also be sharing outfit inspiration on our Instagram stories and in our WhatsApp group. If you’d like to join the group, just send us a message on Instagram. It’s also a great place to connect with others attending the event. \\n\\nMost importantly, this is a safe and welcoming space for everyone. Come as you are, come as your alter ego, or come as someone you’ve always wanted to be for one night. The focus is on freedom, self expression, and feeling confident in whatever you choose to wear.\\n\\nWhether you arrive as a vampire, a mysterious wanderer of the night, or simply yourself, the night is yours to step into, dance through, and disappear into until the early hours.\\n\\n----- \\n\\nWe strive to create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable being themselves. We do not tolerate any kind of racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, harassment, discrimination, or disrespect of any kind. \\n\\nAccessibility: The Steel Yard offers step free access to the main floor and an accessible toilet. For specific access requirements or PA entry, please contact the venue in advance. \\n\\nFor everyone’s safety, Necropolis enforces a NO PHOTO ID – NO ENTRY policy. All guests must present a physical photo ID, which will be scanned on arrival. Digital or photographed IDs cannot be accepted.\\n\\n\\n
