Just a big ol' knees up down at your local with rotating special guest DJ's & £5 pints all night.\\n\\nABOUT JUST LIL\\n\\njust lil is an artist from South East London. Her style is a fusion inspired by the vocals of UK underground music but with deep understanding of classic songwriting. Having first learnt to sing by imitating pitched garage & grime vocals plucked from 90’s R&B, just lil found her voice and has developed an intricate approach that re-contextualises the practice of sampling within more traditional songwriting structures to create a sound that feels both nostalgic and strikingly fresh.\\n\\nFirst emerging through collaborations on ones’ debut project, her debut EP ‘WWED’ built on her foundations and featured production from Cameo Blush and Dot Major and mixed by Hessle Audio’s Pearson Sound; following a series of features with Douvelle19, Jasper Tygner, Ludwig A.F and on Barry Can’t Swim’s Mercury-nominated album.
