One Foot in the Rave

One Foot in the Rave exists to share music we love in a space that feels welcoming, intimate and rooted in community. Musical integrity and giving a voice to artists from underrepresented backgrounds sits at the heart of what we do, and our dancefloors are built on trust, connection and shared energy.\\n\\nFriday 13th March is our first party of the 2026 season and we couldn’t be more excited to return to Dalston Den. It’s one of our favourite spaces in London for an up-close and sweaty dancefloor, decent sound quality and plenty of spaces to chill, reset, and connect.\\n\\nThis time we’re joined by Jax Vrooge and UNCUT, two DJs fresh on the scene with a strong sense of identity and a lot of energy to share.\\n\\nThe sound of UNCUT moves between techno, trance, and progressive house, reimagined through a modern lens. His sets are built for flow and progression, pulling the room into a steady climb where dancers stay locked in and lose themselves. A natural sense of journey allows groove and melody to unfold over long stretches. Rooted in queer club culture, his instinctive approach is shaped by watching bodies stay connected to the music. The sound is physical,\\nunfiltered, and euphoric.\\n\\nJax Vrooge approaches the booth with a specific philosophy: the mixer is not just a tool for blending frequencies, but a vessel for mixing tension, intensity, and emotion. Rooted in hypnotic Berlin techno, Jax focuses on the narrative between tracks, weaving rhythmic intensity with evolving melodies to create a deep, tense rhythmic trance.\\n\\nAs always, OFITR co-founders Amar and Yazmin will be sharing the decks with our guests and\\nbringing their signature blend of groove-led, percussive techno.\\n\\nMarch is also the first of three parties we’ll be running at Dalston Den this year.
