From his early roots in sound system culture and pirate radio to his genre-defining work with 4hero, and as founder of 2000BLACK and a key architect of London boogie, his output fuses jazz, soul, techno and futurist electronics with deep London roots. \\n\\nHaving only performed publicly a handful of times, this is an exceptionally rare full-scale appearance from the 2000Black band.\\n\\nTheo Parrish is the pivotal Washington D.C.-born, Detroit-based DJ, producer and founder of Sound Signature, renowned for his raw, afro-futurist sound and uncompromising dedication to electronic music as a Black art form. \\n\\nA fixture of global underground culture and a member of supergroup 3 Chairs (alongside Moodymann, Rick Wilhite and Marcellus Pittman), Parrish brings his signature “sound sculpture” approach to the stage powered by the mighty Sound Signature Voices trio: Ideeyah Supreme, Khadeeja Grace and Monica Blaire.\\n\\nCurated by Errol and Alex Rita as part of TB10: Touching Bass’ 10th Anniversary World Tour, the night continues their concert series partnership with the Barbican Centre.
