Algha's Plantroom is an independent, femme-owned, queer-led event space in the heart of Fish Island, Hackney Wick. For the last two years it has existed as a living platform for experimentation, connection, and radical expression, from boundary-pushing art exhibitions and performance nights to euphoric club takeovers. Rooted in the creative pulse of East London, it’s a space where community forms, identities expand, and new worlds are rehearsed.\\n\\nWe need your help to keep her alive.\\n\\nWe’re currently facing the difficult period since opening. Rising rent, increased business rates, and a big wave of cancellations and drop-outs have left us in a fragile position. The costs of running a fully independent, community-focused space have never been higher, and without support, our ability to keep going is genuinely at risk.
