About this event
FOLD presents The Studio Residents Showcase.\\n12.06.2026.\\n\\nThe students become the masters this June. \\n\\nOur six Studio Residents unite under one roof for a very special FOLD Presents club night. The event will showcase the dance music projects produced by these artists inside our Resident's studio over the past two months on our inaugural FOLD Production Scheme, supported by our partners Funktion One, Focusrite and Saffron Records.\\n\\nThis will be the first time anyone has heard these pieces - and it certainly won't be the last.\\n\\nThe six Studio Residents are: \\n\\nSuki Quasimodo (@sukiquasimodo)\\n\\nThe experimental electronic artist, Suki Quasimodo crafts bass-led, cinematic sound worlds that invite immersive listening and emotional depth. Moving between club physicality & cinematic introspection, she specialises in creating intimate, emotionally charged environments designed for deep listening.\\n\\nRose Holland (@itsroseholland)\\n\\nThe Bristol-based producer, vocalist, and DJ, Rose Holland, has been creating her distinct blend of rich, resampled vocal-led bass music layered with expansive chords & intricate melodies, first under Dutchie and now her new alias for 2026.\\n\\nZebra Katz (@zebrakatz)\\n\\nMultidisciplinary rapper, producer, songwriter and performing artist, the Genre-defying and self-made artist, Zebra Katz , originally surfaced through Ojay Morgan’s thesis project at the Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts at the New School. Making music became an extension of Morgan’s interest in theatre and culture studies, identity intrigue and the lively New York City underground arts circle around him… and Zebra Katz was born.\\n\\nNsasi (@nsasi_ug)\\n\\nThis Enfant Terrible of the deeply conservative, picturesque town of Jinja, Uganda, Nsasi exists in all forms of defiance. Their daring sound embodies both a nostalgia for traditional rhythms/sound palettes and an affinity for hyper-modern, disruptive compositions in which skittered fluxes of acid could collide with Kiganda percussion or East African Trap.\\n\\nS Ruston (@s_ruston_)\\n\\nS Ruston is a DJ, lecturer, producer, vocalist & composer for dance, whose work moves between club culture & critical theory rooted in working-class struggle. This creative project sees them combine with performer & choreographer Serena Landriel @sereelandriel; a specialist in the in-between: punk bodies, queer textures, tenderness with teeth.\\n\\nLockhart (@lockhartsdj)\\n\\nDJ, fledgling producer, genre enthusiast, Lockhart specialises in not specialising. A self appointed purveyor of “controlled chaos”, she plays with the crowd, not to them; now comes her breakthrough into production.\\n\\nThis project has been supported using public funding by Arts Council England.\\n\\nNO RACISM, NO SEXISM, NO HOMOPHOBIA, NO TRANSPHOBIA, NO ABLEISM.\\n\\nFOLD is strictly 21+. Physical ID is mandatory for all guests and will be checked at the door.\\n\\nYour ticket does not guarantee entry to FOLD; admission is at the sole discretion of our Entrance Team. Please respect their decision.\\n\\nClosest transport:\\n- Star Lane DLR Station\\n- Canning Town Underground Station
