Pull Up meets Patterns for an EXTENDED Open Decks Special @ AAJA\\n\\n\\nTHREE events on offer\\n\\n\\n7-8pm: Q&A w/ SCARBA – “How To Go Pro As a DJ” (TICKETS)\\n\\n\\nMany of you in the WhatsApp Group have asked about getting gigs and making that move from Beginner Bedroom DJ to Pro Party Selector. Well SCARBA is here to share her two cents as someone who’s recently navigated that route.\\n\\n\\nSCARBA’s high-energy sets blend together global bass, bubbling, baile funk, soca and bouyon with a raw, underground edge. Some of her recent gigs include playing Outside Festival, Blackstage and Popola and she has over five years of experience building stages and curating festivals across Europe – including Glastonbury, Wireless, Love Box and All Points East. She will be speaking about how to share the music you love at a professional level.\\n\\n\\n8-9pm: BEGINNER KUDURO DANCE WORKSHOP w/ Bruno Wilson (TICKETS)\\n\\n\\nPatterns prides itself on challenging the nightlife status quo. As a result, they’ve hosted some of the finest global DJs, including some excellent kuduro and batida producers. We’re putting on a small dance workshop for any fans looking to get a deeper understanding of these seismic, rhythmically-rich styles. \\n\\n\\nThe class will be led by Bruno Wilson, a Portuguese-born choreographer with Angolan and Cape Verdean heritage. He is a member of the dance duo Pinipuki and has ten years experience performing and teaching kuduro, afro house – as well as the newer sambalakite style.
